ComCom Systems History

Founded in 1989, ComCom Systems, Inc. located in Clearwater, Florida, is a privately held, veteran owned company. Our employees are shareholders with a vested interest in the long term success of the company. In the early 1990’s ComCom developed and patented software that could “read” hand printed or machine printed numbers and letters. That “reading” is accomplished by employing ComCom’s proprietary software which uses an Intelligent Character Recognition technology to read hand printed letters and numbers (ICR) and an Optical Character Recognition technology (OCR) to read machine printed letters and numbers.

Capitalizing on our engineering expertise and listening to our clients needs, ComCom produced solutions that solved their problems. Our solutions provided improved accuracy, increased throughput at a significantly lower cost then other systems available on the market. Our diverse client base included healthcare, retail, insurance and banking.

In 2008 a new management team introduced a unique pricing model which allowed expansion into new markets. For the first time, industry leading software became affordable to small and medium size companies. Further marketing revealed that large companies dissatisfied with their current system also recognized the value of both our technical solution and our pricing model. As a result additional clients include Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), and Third Party Administrators (TPAs).

ComCom continues to develop unique solutions to meet the ever changing needs of the markets we serve.
